Legal Resources
City governments often know that citizens may be unaware of municipal law governing the city's conduct. Fortunately, there are several charitable organizations which assist citizens to become knowledgeable about their own government.
Taxpayer & Policy Organizations
The Encinitas Taxpayers Association is an unusual citizen organization because the ETA is based entirely on the grassroots vollenteer actions of a cross party coalition of citizens. We are not the only a watchdog in San Diego, however Encinitas is rarely considered by these organizations.
ETA Newsletters
As issues arise, the ETA publishes advisories and newsletters. The ETA is moving toward greater communication via email and we encourage our long-time members to subscribe to our customizable email list.
ETA Blog
The ETA keeps a serial record of news events and commentary related to government activities. We accept editorial submissions supporting differing positions on local issues. As is common in blog media, some of the commentary is edgy and proactive. Editorial content does not necessary give the position of the ETA or its members.
